The Fearless Living Institute is committed to producing professional life coaches who are fully committed to the field. To that end, you must complete certain application prerequisites before applying to our Certified Fearless Living Coaching (CFLC) program.

 

Our interactive program and curriculum materials require program candidates to communicate with the program Directors, Coaches, Mentors and other Program Candidates (PCs) on a regular basis via telephone and email. It is critical that the PC have a basic working knowledge of computers, with experience and competent skills using a word processing program and email account. We recommend that PCs have access to their own personal computer due to the timely demands of the program and successful completion of the requisite materials.

Before You Apply

You'll need to finish your application prerequisites within an eighteen-month period, but they can be completed in any order. They are as follows:

• Attend a Fearless Foundation Workshop. This workshop teaches you how fear keeps you from accepting yourself and realizing your full potential. It's an in-depth exploration of the Fearless Living philosophy.

• Attend a Fearless Conversations Workshop. Fearless Conversations is an introduction to essential coaching skills. It helps you support and empower others, building a bridge that facilitates achievement and mutual respect.

• Create and lead a Fearless Book Group. You can start your Fearless Book Group at any time, but you must lead it for at least six weeks and have at least 3 participants in attendance for each meeting.  This process will help you integrate the philosophy of Fearless Living, and will expose you to some of the situations that arise frequently in coaching. You will be required to show attendance records.

• Attend a minimum of six coaching sessions, and obtain a letter of recommendation from a Program Prerequisite Approved (PPA) CFLC. We have found that it is difficult, if not impossible, to work as a life coach without ever having been coached. To fulfill this requirement, students must complete a minimum of six sessions with a single Program Prerequisite Approved (PPA) Certified Fearless Living Coach and obtain a recommendation letter from that coach upon completion. Coaches designated with the insignia of PPA have specific training to help you deepen your knowledge and understanding of what it takes to become a Certified Fearless Living Coach (CFLC). Coaching Candidates

Potential candidates who would like to enter our CFLC program must show proof of having finished the application prerequisites within eighteen-months, and apply for acceptance into the program. If accepted, candidates begin the certification requirements.
